Note to self. Do not go to Staples when everyone is shopping for back to school but me! Trying so hard to stay out of people's way that I didn't see a young woman crouched down in front of my cart. Nearly bowled her over! Yikes!
Bailey cracks me up -- You know those divers who do a pike position? Their legs are straight and their hands clasped behind their knees as they dive? Bailey sometimes sleeps like that. A perfect 10! I missed the shot because he heard the camera turn on and then covered his face.
So this is the 2nd stinging insect (I think) in my scrapbook room in 2 weeks. Have to figure out where they are coming from. I am afraid of stingy things. And even more afraid with two cats who might just think it would be really fun to play with! So after securing the area (that means getting the cats out of there!) I commenced with broom warfare. Happy to say I won!
Flipping through old photos and I came across this photo from Sleeping Bear Dunes State Park in Michigan. You walk up this walkway and when you get to the top you have the most breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. This is one of those photos where you wish you could blink and be standing there.
I was looking through some photos taken around the time of my knee surgery last Fall. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience -- there were actually many blessings about it. One was that Bailey, who isn't my cuddly one would come up on my chest when I was recuperating on the couch and lay there for a bit. Purring and letting me pet him. This is the view I had. The best medicine.
