Elegance and a giveaway!

I don't always know what to do with big flourshy stamps.  I thought this was so pretty from one of Papertrey Ink's newer sets.   I stamped it in chalk ink over this Graphic 45 paper.  Added a few Hero Arts pearls and a ribbon and I'm done!

Easy mini cards

Using up the last of this Chatterbox chipboard set.  I am sad that this Making Memories paper is just about used up.  I really like the brown zig zag border.  I think it gives such a cute finished look with no extra effort.

An apple a day...

may or may not keep the doctor away but it makes me smile!  These chipboard apples are from the Creating Keepsakes set I mentioned a couple of posts ago.  And it went perfectly with this Sassafras Lass paper.  I'm lovin' the red too.

For an Etsy customer...

I decided to play around with a color combo that I have never used before.  Just started pulling out scraps to see what I came up with.  Kind of fun actually!

Another mass production project like yesterday's

Once again, using up supplies.  I decided to make a set of mini cards with these butterflies from a big package of them I got from Creating Keepsakes.   I used the Hero Arts sentiments stamps.  I also added a bit of Stickles and Hero Arts Gems to each of the butterflies to jazz them up a bit.

 

A bunch of Chatterbox chipboard cards

Right now I'm into using most of something I buy.  Usually I'll buy a set of chipboard or stickers or something, use one and move on to something else.  So I sat down with these fun Chatterbox chipboard pieces and made a bunch of cards.  It really was fun and fast when I limited myself to a certain pallet of colors and design elements (dots of course).  I am so ready for Spring and I'm feeling a little blah these days to I decided to cheer myself up with these colors.  Happy colors!

This is one of my favorite little stamps.  I love how you can pop it off the card and make it look like tissues are coming out of it.   I know that if I wasn't feeling good I'd love to get a card this cheery.

Lovin' butterflies!

In the past I wasn't wild about owls, butterflies or birds - no offense to them!  :-)  I just wasn't attracted to them at all.  Until they showed up everywhere on scrapbook pages and cards.  Now I can't get enough of any of them.  Mushrooms?  Not so much yet.... :-)

The newest Basic Grey (porcelain) has some great ones on their chipboard sheet so of course as soon as I got them I had to play.
