Love birds

I was thrilled that an Etsy customer asked me to make a wedding card for her to give to her husband on their wedding day.  Of course it had to be perfect and go with her yellow and black wedding.  This is totally inspired by Debbie Olson.  Here is what I came up with:

 

Supplies:  Bazzill cardstock, Cosmo Cricket paper, Spellbinders Nestabilities dies, Memory Box stamp, colored pencils, Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Creative Imaginations ribbon, Greeting created with Arial font on the computer.

Cards for Heroes blog hop and a giveaway (don't miss it!)

I have been so excited for today and the chance to see 130 bloggers all participating in this great card event.  I am happy to be part of something that pays tribute to this nation's heroes.  Dear friends of mine have a son who had several tours of duty in Iraq and he experienced profound losses of close buddies there.   The bravery that our military exhibits just amazes me and I am so grateful for each and every one of them and the sacrifices that they and their families make for us.  God bless them and our country.

I made two cards for the hop.  The first card I made is pretty simple.  I like making cards that don't take alot of time.

Supplies:  Bazzill cardstock and Edges, Papertrey Star paper, Diamond Stickles, Hero Arts greeting stamp, Verve star stamp, ColorBox ink (on star)

The second one isn't my usual style -- more distress-y than usual but playing with Ranger Ink products is too much darn fun.

 

Supplies:  Bazzill cardstock, Tim Holtz grungeboard (inked up with Tim Holtz Distress Ink), Cuttlebug embossing folder

Great friend rub on card

So I made this card a long time ago.   I forgot about it until it sold on Etsy today.   So I'm sorry I don't remember all of the supplies.  I know that the greeting is Hero as are the gems on the rub-ons. 

 

A cute Jennifer card!

I save every card that Jennifer makes me.  They make me happy.  I love this one.  I think she made the birdie with a digikit.  Cute huh?

And for the record it isn't my birthday.  I think this one was from last July (my birthday month).
