As you have seen I am addicted to the little girl series that My Favorite Thing has. But this "boy one" caught my eye -- so cute! I finally used the PaperTrey Ink impression plate that I bought awhile ago to create the wood grain background. I die cut a piece of kraft cardstock with a Tim Holtz die. Then I used the Impression plate to create the woodgrain. I lightly inked the whole thing with Vintage Photo distress ink. Love how it made the grain pop.
Supplies: Kraft cardstock; My Favorite Things Ahoy Matey stamp set; Vintage Photo Distress Ink: Copic markers (E3000, E301, E31, E02, E35, E37, E39, B97, B99, G28, G29, G24, 111, R08, R27, R29, YR15); Mini brads; Tim Holtz Die; Papertrey Ink Impression plate
If you leave me a comment on this post can you do me a favor? Can you tell me if this card's photo is blurry? I am having trouble with my glasses and can't tell. If it is something is wrong with my camera OR I have completely lost my ability to take photos! :-(
Doesn't look blurry to me, Jana. I am lovin' that plaid paper! Adorable image. . .so perfect for a young boy! :)

Cute, cute, cute. What a great card for a young boy. I don't see any blurriness in your picture at all. The wood grain really turned out great. Hope your week is off to a good start. Mine is, I had today off!!
