Cards that Care

Many of you participated in the Cards For Kids drives and there is a new opportunity to support others with your creations.    This particular drive is near and dear to my heart.  It supports the elderly in nursing homes whose lives need a bit of cheer.    This past year my Mother had health issues that had her staying in a skilled nursing/nursing home facility for awhile.  It broke my heart seeing so many people that nobody seemed to visit and who needed joy in their lives so badly.  My Mom came home but so many of the people there never do.  I watched small gestures like a hello or a smile make a huge difference.    You can find details here.
