Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp New Dies Blog Hop! We have been so excited about this and I was so honored to be invited to play! The new dies are amazing and I bet after seeing what all of the talented artists on the hop have done with them you will be more than a little bit tempted! Here they are!

I chose this one to play with for the hop.

I die cut the flowers and stems from watercolor paper and covered them using Distress Markers (Worn Lipstick, Barn Door, Peeled Paint, and Forest Moss). I didnt worry too much about blending them because I knew they would blend when I sprayed Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Pearl on it. I used the Hero Arts Lattice Background cling stamp and clear embossed the image on the My Favorite Things Vertical Greetings die cut green piece. Then I stamped it using Hero Arts soft green shadow ink on a piece of white cardstock. I lined up the background pattern on the green and white paper and adhered the green piece with dimensional dots. I adhered the flower and then stamped a greeting on the Memory Box Primo Labels die in Hero Arts Grass Chalk Ink. A few pearls and a butterfly (punched with Martha Stewart Classic Butterfly punch) complete the card front.
