I had the best weekend... had crafty friends over both Saturday and Sunday. And unlike what usually happens when I have company I actually accomplished something and made quite a few cards! Some of them were really simple because I needed some to send. Also, I found myself using die cuts alot and then having the piece it was cut out left over -- and then turned that into a card! Two for one! I made this one first.
I wanted to use this thanks die cut. I grabbed the patterned paper out of my scrap drawer. It is so old I have no idea what it is! I cut a frame using the largest rectangle in this die set. Put it on a white note card, did a little sewing around the frame and done. So I had a pretty piece of paper cut out from the middle that I hated to waste so I made this:
I think I like this one better than the first! I am kind of addicted to using this outline leaf die (it comes in a filled in version that I also have in love). It is so delicate and created the perfect delicate accent.

Both are beautiful, Jana!
