I am so relieved that my laptop is repaired and I'm back to creating and sharing again. There is a die challenge going on in the Simon Forum over at SplitCoastStampers (until 2/24) and while I can't participate officially I wanted to play along. The challenge is to use a die and it's not hard for me to do that - I can't seem to make a card without one!
I stumbled on a Hero Arts Stamp & Die set that I hadn't used and loved the shape of the dies. I didn't use the stamps but thought it would be cute to use the dies with patterned paper. I went a little Glossy Accent crazy on this card .. I covered both flowers in it. You may wonder how I got the bottom flower to curl up. I didn't! When the Glossy Accents dried that's what it did and I kept it that way. For the "you" I die cut it 3 times and stacked it to give it some depth -- then? More Glossy Accents of course!
Supplies: Hero Arts Stamp & Die Cut Bold Pop Designs; Hero Arts Snow notecard; Pebbles Seen & Noted 6X6 paper pad; Corner Chomper; Impression Obsession background stamp; Versamark ink; Ranger Detail Clear Embossing powder; Simon Says Stamp You Die; Simon Says Stamp You clear stamp set; Ranger Glossy Accents; Versafine black ink; My Favorite Things Royal Leaves die; Cakewalk button; Paper Shapers label punch

I ADORE this card, Jana! Your flower is soooo cute and the glossy accents look awesome! Glad you've got your computer back - whew! :)

So glad to hear you are back up and running. Computer issues are so scary. I am grateful to have a son that fixes computer issues for me. This is a great card. I love how bright and cheerful it is.
