I enjoyed making yesterday's card with the purse in the window so much that I decided to make another window shopping card using the adorable Princess Dresses dies from Memory Box. I am amazed at the tiny and detailed images we can get out of dies these days. I added dimension to one of the dresses and thicker dimension to the window frame so they look really 3-dimensional
I got the adorable Memory Box purse die that I used on this card and I must admit I was stumped on how to use it. I thought it would be larger. My new friend Susan Wymer suggested I put the purse in a store window so I did it! So fun to make.
Yes, another Pure Innocence girl! I couldn't resist the cute bunny ears on this one. I used a little piece of patterned paper scrap to paper piece the bow in her hair and her dress. The rest is colored with Copics. To do the background I cut a circle and used it as a stencil. I put a Post-It note across the line where I wanted the grass and sky to meet and used a sponge dauber to apply ink. Then I flipped the Post-It in the other direction. Easy peasy for an awesome effect.
I can't see a Pure Innocence stamp without wanting to paper piece it. So I did that here and colored it with Copics. You can't see it well in the photograph but there are embossing paste dots on the white card.
