Earlier this year I was fortunate to spend some time crafting with the amazing Debby Hughes. Not only is she incredibly talented but she is a lovely person as well. So sweet and kind. I have "stalked" her blog for awhile and what a treat it was to meet her. When I saw this card I just loved it.. loved it!
As you can see below I did alot of the card just like Debby did. But I wanted to make the whole card beachy. She used an air compressor to create her background. I did mine with Distress Inks on watercolor paper. I didn't do any water coloring but I discovered recently that distress ink goes on watercolor paper "like buttah"... so smooth, no applicator tool lines and you get a really soft color. And if you don't have the Lawn Fawn set I used? Get it! It is one of my new favorites - so much fun. And the dies are such time savers!
