Have you seen the new Copic Hex Chart that my friend Sandy Allnock created? It is sheer brilliance, really. Many Copic users, including me, have relied on the numbering system to decide what colors will work well together for shading and blending. Sometimes I don't like what the numbers say should work together - they just don't! Or you don't have a color that's dark enough in the series. Sandy arranged these by colors that go together - not NUMBERS that go together. It has already changed the way I color. It has also shown me places where I really didn't need all of the colors I got because different families were darn close to each other. So now that mine is all filled out (below) I refer to it often.
As a bonus for the launch of this chart (and your opportunity to get one!), there is a video blog hop today. Click here to enjoy! And then go get your chart!
