And boy is this a good one! I think it's going to sell out quickly so if you want one I wouldn't wait to order it. Also, you can subscribe now here! That way you never miss a month!
Here is the February kit. You can buy it here:
To make this card I first created the background. I cut a somewhat curvy line from 3M masking tape and adhered it to white cardstock so I could ink up the sky. I used shades of lighter Distress Ink at the bottom of the sky and went darker as I went up. I used an ink applicator to apply the ink. Then I used the other strip of tape that I cut off when creating the first piece and masked off the sky part so I could ink up the grass.
I stamped the little girl on what cardstock with black ink, then colored it in with Copic markers (B26, B63, R29, BV17, YR04, Y17, BG13, YG23 and Y18).
To create the clouds I stamped it and then die cut it with the coordinating dies. I added just a little bit of light grey Copic marker around the inside of the clouds.
After being sure that the ink in the background was dry (and putting some embossing powder on it to make sure it all slid off), I stamped the rain with Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. I put the little girl where I wanted her and then did the same embossing with the sentiment.
The cloud was adhered with foam tape. I matted the card front with some red cardstock then attached it to a top folding white card base. I added some white dots to the bottom of her trench coat and then added glossy accents to the umbrella and boots.
There are quite a few add-on products this month but my favorites? These:
