Distress Inks come in such happy colors that I wanted to use them with a fun StencilGirl stencil.
To create the card front I taped the stencil down on some Bristol Smooth cardstock and applied the Distress Ink using the mini round applicator tool. I moved the stencil each time I changed colors to get it just where I wanted it.
Then I used the applicator tool to add some Cracked Pistachio to some white cardstock. I wanted it to match exactly when I die cut it and this is the best way to make sure it does. Then I die cut the "happy" die. I added some Wink of Stella to it to add a bit of shimmer. I stamped the greeting with Versamark ink on a strip of black cardstock then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I attached both the word and the sentiment to the card front.
I created the orange piece to be used to mat the card front by applying Carved Pumpkin ink to the outside edges -- again, for a perfect match. Then I attached the card front to the mat and both to a top folding white cardstock base.
Lastly, I placed a few random sequins on the card using Multi matte medium. No idea what they are - sorry!
