Thanks to all of you who have left a comment on yesterday's post to win a Designing with Greetings book. I will be drawing a winner tonight. And I have several extras of these books so you never know -- you may see a list of winners later today! :-) If you haven't commented on yesterday's post, please do so I can include you in the drawing.
A couple of days ago Jennifer and I taught a mini-card class at Stamp Your Art Out in Cincinnati. We had so much fun with everyone and I always love playing with Hero stamps! We used mostly stamps from the Summer 2008 release. All of the cards were smaller than the usual size --- this one is half the size.
I used this small bird background stamp that was just the perfect size for a mini-card. I stamped it twice -- with white ink on kraft paper and kraft ink on white paper. And I took the latter and cut it out and popped it off the card front. So easy!
Supplies: Hero Arts stamps, Chalk ink, Brilliance white ink, Memories black ink, Bazzill cardstock, string (Hobby Lobby)
Stay tuned over the next few days for more cards from class.
I love this litle card!!! So sorry I had to miss this class! Looks like you all did some great stuff again - as usual!

Our fireworks are on the night of the 3rd! And we had a terrible thunderstorm, so they've been postponed until the 5th. We BBQ with friends on the 4th, so this feels like a very, very long holiday! I did manage to get some crafting done while the kids were out swimming on the 4th, so all in all, it has been a great holiday!

What a cute card! I love the idea of stamping white on kraft and then kraft on white. So many possibilities with other colours too. I must give it a try! Thanks for the inspiration.

I really loved making this card in your class. The colors and inks work so well together. So much so I will be on a all out search for the stamp. Aruna is on a waiting list. You really do amazing cards. Your classes help me (a new stamper)
to try harder things. Most of all your tips on using supplies and new ways of using tools are the best!!!! Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us.
