This is a fun technique because you can see two paint colors together on one technique.
Instructions: Paint a piece of sticky-back canvas with CH Studio Acrylic Paint. Allow it to dry. Keep in mind that the color you are painting will be the one that show through from behind the embossing you will do. Allow it to dry or dry with a heat gun. Stamp the image onto sticky-back canvas with clear embossing ink and apply clear embossing powder. Heat emboss. Brush another color of paint on top of the embossed image. Before it dries, quickly wipe the excess paint off with a paper towel revealing the resisted image below.
Here is a card I made with this technique:
I used altered orange as the first layer and yellow pastel over the top. Here are the other supplies I used: Hero Arts notecard, greeting stamp, pearls, and Leaf background stamp; Martha Stewart butterfly punch, SEI button, Papertrey Ink ribbon, Stampin Up corner punch and "slit" punch
love the butterflies on your card! I have that punch--think I'll use it this weekend.
PS. I was one of the winners of The Shack--I enjoyed the book very much!!! thanks!!!!!!!
