Jennifer and I taught two classes on Sunday: A Holiday class and A Season class. This card is from the latter. I don't know why I hadn't used these Powder colored note cards from Hero Arts with Weathered Wood Distress Inks. GORGEOUS! The card is cut on the right side using a Tim Holtz On The Edge die. Love these things. And the Hero snowflake stamps are heat embossed with white embossing powder so they pop off the card. They are the perfect size for a card without having to do a ton of stamping.
The other simple touch is on the greeting -- It is stamped in Pumice Stone Distress Ink and then written over with a glitter pen. It looks like pewter. So elegant. Stay tuned this week for more cards from class.
Supplies: Hero Arts Enjoy the Season cling stamp set, Light blue pearl accents, white embossing powder and Everyday Sayings Greeting set; Tim Holtz Bracket die; Ranger Weathered Wood and Pumice Stone Distress Inks
OHHHHHHHH so pretty.

Very pretty card! So sorry I missed the holiday card class. Made me sad. Had to have a medical test Monday and prep was Sunday. Darn.
Saw on FB you are having gall bladder surgery. I will think of you.
Looking forward to seeing more of your cards. :)
Take care,
Kathy

Great card, Jana. Fun classes.
Hope you are feeling ok after your surgery. I know it is no fun from my experience. Hugs.
