I told you I loved this elephant! I couldn't stop playing with this set. This time I created a background using Distress Ink. I placed the Simon Says Stamp Large Dot Stencil over white cardstock and applied three colors of Distress Ink. I started with Festive Berries in the lower right corner. Then used Abandoned Coral (one of the amazing new 2015 colors) and then Spiced Marmalade. Just a little each so I didn't cover the whole card.
The images are stamped in My Favorite Things Black Hybrid ink, die cut and then colored with Copic markers. Wonder why I have two black inks that I used on this card? Because the My Favorite Things ink works well with Copics - they don't bleed. But it's not the most crisp, blackest black ink. I like to use Versafine Black or Hero Arts Black for greetings.
Very cute. I have the Distress markers in the new colors on order, can't wait to see them.

These cards are fantastic! I need to add the extra large stencil to my wish list. Didn't think I needed it until seeing how you used it.
