Have you seen these? Shari Carroll, who is a master at beautiful color combinations, created these recipe cards of colors that work well together. There are combinations here that I would never use. Which is why I love these!

On to the card I made using Recipe Card #8.
To create this background I stamped the Simon Says Stamp Lattice Grid background stamp on watercolor paper with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I used a foam applicator to add Distress Ink color to the background. I love ink blending on watercolor paper because it blends so easily and softly. I used my MISTI tool to position the greeting where I wanted it and stamped it on a white cardstock card base. Then I adhered the watercolor paper with foam tape. I added sequins and "sending" that was stamped on black cardstock and heat embossed in white embossing powder.
Awesome! So perfect.
