I was honored to be invited to participate in today's blog hop. I sure will enjoy seeing what everyone has created. If you want to start at the top of the hop go here. I have three cards to share with you.
This card uses the Altenew Floral Frame stamp set. I randomly stamped the leaf image on white cardstock. I colored the images and the whole background with Copic markers. I was going for an imperfect look so I didn't worry about it completely filling in all of the areas. I used a white gel pen to put some random "flicks" of detail on the leaves.
I stamped the flowers and colored them with Copic markers. Then I fussy cut around the edges. The greeting was stamped on a white cardstock flag and adhered to the card. Then I popped the flowers up a bit with foam tape. I put white fun foam behind the card front and adhered it to the white cardstock card base.
I had so much fun playing with the Altenew stamp set that I decided to create a second card.
To create this card I stamped the floral images side by side. I wanted it to act like a border when it was fussy cut along the outside edge. I colored them with Copic markers and then cut around the edges. I stamped the greeting in black ink. To create my card base I stamped a striped background stamp on pink paper with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I put a thin piece of striped paper along the bottom edge and then attached the card front using some foam tape for dimension.
So who is in the mood for a little Christmas in July? I was when I saw this beautiful Memory Box Fanciful Poinsettia ornament die set.
What's really cool about this die is that when you die cut the ornament you can get two different shapes from it... the thin outline and the inner piece. I decided to use both on this card. I used some cardstock scraps to die cut three colors. Then I adhered them to the polka dot paper, overlapping them. I used silver metallic thread to hang them. I attached the polka dot paper to some pool cardstock, leaving some showing just on the sides.
I stamped the greeting in black ink and attached it with foam tape. After putting down a thin strip of striped paper along the left edge I attached the card front to a white cardstock card base using white fun foam.

I love flowers! If it was up to me, the outside of my house would be full of flowers everywhere! I love those flowers and you colored them so pretty and colorful! I love the Christmas card too and you used brown! It's not a Christmas color but I like it. You also never see polka dots for Christmas either. You totally outdid yourself!
