Welcome to the blog hop celebrating the Hero Arts 2017 Catalog release in the Hero Arts store. Starting today you can see and buy all of the wonderful new products here in the store. You should have arrived from Michelle Short's blog. If you want to start the hop from the beginning? You can start at the Hero Arts blog to see all of the inspiration today.
I used the Hydrangea and frame cuts set. I love that you can create the hydrangea in three dimension with several layers!
To create today's card stamp the hydrangea image three times on Bristol Smooth Paper using Versafine black ink. Color it with a Zig Clean Color Violet brush using a water brush. Use the frame cuts to die cut the middle and top layers. Add dots of white gel pen to the center of each flower. Stamp the leaves and stem and color them with a Olive Zig Clean Color brush. Then die cut the image. Set these aside.
Create the background by temporarily adhering a piece of white cardstock to a piece of grid paper, at an angle. Use a greeting from the Birthday Messages stamp set to repeatedly stamp in Hero Arts Soft Leaf ink. Draw little hash marks off to the side of the cardstock on the grid paper so you know where to stamp the greeting and have it equally spaced.
Create the greeting by stamping it using Versafine black ink on vellum and heat embossing it with Hero Arts Clear Embossing powder. Cut it into a thin strip.
Adhere the leaves and the bottom/largest hydrangea to the card front. Add the second and third flower image, stacking them and using foam tape to attach them and add dimension.
To attach the greeting strip wrap it around the card front and adhere it with adhesive on the back. Adhere the card front to a Hero Arts note card base.

I am in love with all of these new layering stamps! If I could I would buy them all! It’s so hard to choose a favorite, they are all fantastic! I would say it’s between the peacock and the poppy. But the coy and water Lilly are great too.
