I had fun playing with the Spring Seeds stamp set from the Simon Says Stamp New Beginnings release.
To create this card I stamped the focal image with Intense Black ink on Neenah cardstock. Then I stamped it again on masking paper and cut out a mask that would protect the image while I inked up the background.
I used a mini round ink applicator to lightly apply Simon Says Stamp Melon ink to the top of the image and Rosie Cheeks ink to the bottom. Then I removed the mask and colored the image with Copic markers (C1, YG05, R32, R02 and BG000).
I die cut the focal image and then die cut a slightly larger piece of vellum. I adhered the cardstock to the vellum.
To create the card base I applied Rosie Cheeks ink to white cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp Large Dot stencil using Claritystamp Brushes. I used the brushes to get a softer look. I used foam tape to adhere the vellum to the card front and added a piece of coordinating baker's twine to the top fold of the card.
I adore this Jana, so sweet.
