I need birthday cards. My stash is dwindling. So some quick to produce cards were in order today!
To create the card fronts I cut rectangles from Neenah White cardstock using Simon Says Stamp rectangle dies. To do multiple cards and make sure they are stamped the same way I used the MISTI stamping tool. I found an old Simon Says Stamp clear stamps set from a July 2012 card kit that had the perfect focal element - the dotted circle. I stamped using Simon Says Stamp die ink. After I was sure it was dry I used my powder to to prepare for heat embossing. Then I stamped the greeting using Versafine black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
To complete the card I adhered foam tape to the back and attached it to a checked piece of patterned paper that I cut out with the rectangle dies. I adhered it all to a top folding card base. Because they were simple to make I made four!
This card caught my eye in the SSS Wednesday challenge gallery. I love those bright colours and all the elements are perfectly stamped!
