National Tea Day Collaboration Blog Hop

What a fun collaboration between Honey Bee Stamps and Coffee Lovers Papercrafters to celebrate National Tea Day. I hope you are enjoying today''s blog hop. I have seen lots of cardmakers using black and white images on their cards so I thought I would try that today on this card:

To create the card front I ink blended several colors of Distress Oxide ink using Picket Fence Life Changing brushes. Then I die cut using the Honey Bee Stamps Stitched Scallops Square Honey Cut dies. I used Hero Arts Unicorn Spray to create some white splatters.

I stamped several images using the Tea Time Stamp Set and die cut them using the coordinating Honey Cuts. The graphic look of these images was perfect for the black and white look I was going for.  The Perfect Blend stamp set was just right for a sentiment, stamped in black ink. Then the images were adhered using foam tape. 

The card front was added to a card base that was covered with My Favorite Things striped patterned paper.

Happy 4th Birthday Honey Bee Stamps. What a great way to celebrate - a HUGE release of wonderful new products.  Crazy good. Congratulations Honey Bee! You can find all of the new products here.

And welcome to Day one of a two day blog hop. I am truly honored to be part of it.

I had fun playing with some of the new goodies to make this card:

 

I used the outline image on the new Hexagon Patterns stamp set (it has lots of fun hexagon patterns too - and coordinating die). To create the card I did some rainbow color blending with Distress Inks on a piece of white cardstock. I stamped the hexagon shapes on this paper and then cut around the images. I adhered them on a white piece of cardstock so the hexagons would stand out more against the white color. 

I used the new Missing You stamp and die set to create the greeting. To add a bit of dimension I cut out the black die cut shape 3 times and layered them. The greeting is stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Hero Arts white embossing powder.

To finish off the card I matted the card front on black cardstock and then a top folding white card base. A few sequins in coordinating colors and this card is done!

Picket Fence Studios April Release

Picket Fence has a brand new release today with LOTS of fun new products. I really like the look of a black and white card with a hint of color. So that's what I did on today's card using the Chirp Chirp stamp set. 

I stamped the birds repeatedly using black ink on white cardstock. The sentiment is from the Exhale Worry stamp set. 

The Ton's Spring 2019 Release Blog Hop

 

Happy New Release day to The Ton! We are celebrating The Ton's Spring 2019 Release with 7 new designs! There are additional promotions with free gifts. Head over to The Ton's blog for more details.And to celebrate I got to play with a new BEAUTIFUL Daisy Fields background stamp!

Isn't this gorgeous! I stamped it using Versafine black ink on watercolor paper and heat embossed the image using Hero Arts Clear embossing powder. Then I did some simple watercolor. This card came together so quickly and the images were fun to color. A greeting was added, a few sequins and done!

When I cut down the card do A2 size I was left with a couple of leftover strips. I couldn't let them go to waste so I adhered them to a white card base for a simple card.
