What a fun collaboration between Honey Bee Stamps and Coffee Lovers Papercrafters to celebrate National Tea Day. I hope you are enjoying today''s blog hop. I have seen lots of cardmakers using black and white images on their cards so I thought I would try that today on this card:
To create the card front I ink blended several colors of Distress Oxide ink using Picket Fence Life Changing brushes. Then I die cut using the Honey Bee Stamps Stitched Scallops Square Honey Cut dies. I used Hero Arts Unicorn Spray to create some white splatters.
I stamped several images using the Tea Time Stamp Set and die cut them using the coordinating Honey Cuts. The graphic look of these images was perfect for the black and white look I was going for. The Perfect Blend stamp set was just right for a sentiment, stamped in black ink. Then the images were adhered using foam tape.
The card front was added to a card base that was covered with My Favorite Things striped patterned paper.
