Welcome to day two of the Honey Bee 5th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop!
You should have arrived from my sweet friend Lisa Cisnero's blog. If you're just stopping by make sure you head over to the Honey Bee Blog so you don't miss a stop on the hop :)
What an inspiration it has been for five years. It is a privilege to be on the design team of a company with heart and that is what Melissa brings to the industry. Not to mention off the chart talent and a great team. Wishing Honey Bee Stamps many more years to come.
Honey Bee is giving away a $25 gift card to one lucky commentor so make sure you leave some love at each stop on the hop.
I stamped the floral image on high quality watercolor paper with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I used Distress Inks to watercolor the image (and the background). I "smooshed" some ink on to a craft mat and used a wet brush to pick up the ink and color in the images. You can see that it's just a loose watercolor. I used Picked Raspberry and Mowed Lawn Distress ink. I used a little Spiced Marmalade for the little flowers
The image is cut out so easily with the coordinating die. I stamped the greeting on a piece of coordinating cardstock and then used the inner die to cut it out and pop it up with foam squares,
To create the background I simply used a wide brush to paint rough diagonal strikes across another piece of watercolor paper. When the ink had all dried I added some Spectrum Noir glitter pen of the flowers.
Your next stop on the hop is the super talented Mindy Eggen. She is so talented, you won't be disappointed!
You can shop the entire new release here
Thanks so much for stopping by and have fun hopping. If you didn't hop yesterday please be sure to check out day 1. The projects the design team created b,ew me away.
