Thanks for stopping by for a fun blog hop feature a collaboration between two great companies -- My Sweet Petunia (MISTI) and Pinkfresh Studio. I love PInkfresh Studio products and can't seem to create without the MISTI. And today"s card is no exception, the MISTI made it so easy to create.
I used Gina K Designs inks to stamp each stripe in the Popout Chevron Background cling stamp. I adhered the whole popout stamp to the lid of the MISTI (These popout stamps are so fun!) . Then I took all of the pieces out but the frame and the stamp I wanted to use. Once I was done with that stripe I laid down the next one and removed the first one. Repeat! So easy because the stamp frame helps you put them in the right place.
To add a little bit of interest I used a small floral stamp from Pinkfresh Studios Happy Everything stamp set to stamp off some of the ink (this stamp set is retired by any small image will do). I stamped it on the ink then wiped off the small stamp and repeated along the strip. It gave a subtle marble-like look.
For the greeting I used the Pinkfresh Classic Words die set. There are a bunch of greetings and the shadow dies to match. I used GIna K Designs Ocean Mist cardstock for the shadow (and the folded card base). For the words I used holographic cardstock to add some shine.
To finish off the card I matted the card front in black cardstock and added some gems.
Now let's talk about the giveaway! Pinkfresh Studio and My Sweet Petunia will each be giving away a $50 gift card. The winners will be drawn randomly from all of the blog comments so be sure to leave some love on each blog to increase your chances.
